Who we are

Built by people who host their own tournaments

We run a working esports lab out of our Little Lonsdale Street studio, which means every rack layout, cable run, and firmware profile we recommend has already survived a live Friday-night bracket.

Timber-beamed studio with monitors
01

Grown from the CBD scene

Selavorin started wiring LAN nights above a Melbourne CBD arcade in 2016. Today we look after venues from Southbank to Fitzroy, plus remote studio fit-outs across regional Victoria.

02

Latency is a design decision

We treat routing, switching, and power as one system. Deterministic QoS, isolated VLANs for competition traffic, and hand-tuned buffers keep frame times flat when 128 players hit the same server.

Calm rooms, quiet failures

Open-plan floors, acoustic timber, and living-wall greenery are not decoration — a calm operator makes fewer mistakes. We build spaces that stay cool, quiet, and easy to triage under pressure.

How we work

From first walkthrough to launch night

A fixed four-stage engagement so you always know what happens next — and what it costs.

01

Site audit & latency map

A 3-hour on-site walkthrough. We measure existing throughput, power headroom, RF noise, and thermal load, then hand you a plain-English report. From A$450, credited back if you proceed.

02

Blueprint & fixed quote

Rack elevations, cable schedules, VLAN plan, and a line-item budget in Australian dollars. No hourly surprises — you approve the number before a single cable is pulled.

03

Build & burn-in

We cable, label, flash firmware, and run a 72-hour synthetic load test simulating a full house before anyone plays a real match. Typical mid-size venue: 2–3 weeks.

04

Handover & uptime cover

Documentation, staff training, and an optional Guardian support plan from A$690/month with 30-minute response SLAs during event hours. You own everything we install.

Reviews

Trusted by venues that cannot afford downtime

A wall of results from operators, studios, and tournament organisers around Victoria.

Selavorin rebuilt our 60-seat floor over a single quiet week. Our Friday queue times dropped and we have not lost a match to network drops in eight months.

The 72-hour burn-in caught a dodgy power circuit we never would have found. They fixed it before opening night instead of during our first sold-out cup.

Our studio render fleet was throttling under load. Their undervolt and cooling profiles gave us stable clocks and a much quieter room. Genuinely calmer to work in.

Guardian support paid for itself the first month. An engineer had a spare switch on site within the SLA window while our staff kept the event running.

They speak plainly, quote a fixed number, and hit it. The documentation handover meant our own staff could handle 90% of issues without calling anyone.

From audit to launch in under three weeks, on budget. The living-wall build looks incredible on stream and the room stays cool through 12-hour days.

Questions we hear before signing on

Not at all. Around half our clients are boutique venues, cafes, and studios under 30 seats. The site audit scales to the space, and we size the network and rig fleet to what your room and budget actually need — no over-speccing.

Our Guardian managed plan starts at A$690 per month and includes 24/7 monitoring, patching, and a 30-minute response SLA during your event hours. Larger fleets scale up from there, and everything is quoted as a fixed monthly figure with no hidden call-out fees.

We schedule the physical work around your quietest days and can stage most cabling and imaging in our studio first. A typical mid-size refit lands in a 2–3 week window, and we always leave you playable each night unless you have booked a full closure.

Yes. We start with a latency map and rack audit of the existing setup, document what is worth keeping, and give you a prioritised plan. Many clients come to us this way after inheriting a venue or outgrowing a DIY build.

Both. Our studio is on Little Lonsdale Street in the CBD, but we regularly fit out and support venues across regional Victoria. Remote monitoring covers you continuously, and we schedule on-site visits into the Guardian plan for anywhere outside the metro area.

Our studio is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm AEST, with event support running evenings and weekends by arrangement. Guardian plan clients reach an on-call engineer 24/7, including public holidays.
